NCDIQ | Part I
This April (which is coming up oh so fast), I am going to take the IDPX (Interior Design Professional Exam) and Practicum portions of the NCIDQ exam in order to become a registered interior designer. I took and passed the third portion of the test, IDFX, a couple years ago, so this is all I have left.
I studied very hard for IDFX (Interior Design Fundamentals Exam) and anyone I told was quite confused. "What could they possibly test you on?!" was a frequent response. You'd be surprised how many people don't keep statements like this to themselves.
So in an effort to A- answer that very question and B- help me actually prepare for the exam, I wanted to write a little bit about it here.
The IDPX exam will cover:
1. Project Coordination
2. Codes and Standards
3. Building Systems and Integration
4. Product and Material Coordination
5. Contract Documents
6. Contract Administration
7. Professional and Business Practices
Time to get the ball rolling!
