Wednesday Words | Flowers & Chi

Fresh flowers are such an easy way to improve one's environment and to up the chi factor. On the other hand, they are even easier to dismiss. They die in a week. It's an extra $10-$15 on the grocery bill. It's another thing to take care of. I've been in that camp lately. I haven't picked up flowers in quite a while. It feels like I don't have the energy to add that on to my list. What I forget, however, is that flowers (and anything else that brings 'positive energy' into our home) gives me energy. Though it sounds a little out there, this is one of the tenets for Feng Shui I firmly agree with; We are in a reciprocal relationship with our home. When we put in the effort, our spaces have the ability to help us replenish and re-energize.
